Loanhead Miners YFC 08’s are the Michael Moran Cup Champions

Going in at half time 2-0 down was undeserved due to the closeness of the game but the boys showed the grit and determination to level it up 10 minutes into 2nd half.

We had multiple chances to win it in normal time but it was finally decided on the dreaded penalties.

Penalties were great from both sets of players to keep it at 4-4, Lennon steps up and slots it home to make it 5-4, with Euan pulling off a great save to win the penalty shootout 5-4.

Well done boys, you deserve it!
